School fundraising

Summary
This event was a fundraising that we organized at my school before the summer break. It lasted for the whole day and there were many activities. My job was to be responsible for the barbecue and the cooking in general. I had 3 other persons in my group who were responsible for making the hot dogs, selling them to the client and collecting the money.

What I learnt
this fundraising was a good experience for me in many ways. In a first place, I got to interact with my classmates to organize and plan the tasks (a thing which was very easy for us as we were 4 and were efficient). Also, when we changed the roles, my duty was to sell the hot dogs and as a consequence, it encouraged me to interact with the client, which was a good experience because I am very shy. This therefore pushed me to talk a bit more and share my ideas as well as tell peopple in some cases what my role was in this fundraising. At last, it was a success for me because my effort helped to raise money throughout the service to which I dedicated myself and in return, I knew that I would gain benefits which would help me later in life (organization/interaction/efficiency).
